Michael Oppenheim has been a freelance professional photographer for over 20+ years and has called beautiful Asheville, NC home since 1997.

As a self-professed generalist Michael enjoys working with a diverse clientelle whose photography needs run the gamut: weddings, architecture, editorial, corporate headshots, non-profit annual reports, food, dance and performance, gallery exhibit documentation, and special events.

Born and raised in Kansas until he was 8, Michael has had the fortune of living in New Zealand, Louisiana, Kentucky (Lexington, to be exact, where he went to highschool and Transylvania University), Seattle, and Asheville.
